Multi-element laser diode modules

Applied Optronics's multi-element laser diode modules offer infinite scalability to meet your exact specifications. These modules contain individually fiber-coupled laser diodes wired in series, which eliminate the possibility of catastrophic failure. The built-in redundancy of these units makes them the most reliable and predictable approach for high power applications. Because they are wired in series, they operate at low drive currents and do not require water-cooling common with laser diode bars and arrays, resulting in an overall lower system cost. The data sheets below reflect standardized configurations, but these can be modified by adding or subtracting diodes.
